Top hat Todd

I met "Top hat" Todd on Hollywood Blvd. during Ambassadors' Academy #1. Todd had a lot of knowledge and Christian terminology, But he also mentioned purgatory and thought being a pretty good person would get him to Heaven. This is a typical conversation with someone who is often referred to as an inoculated Christian. That is, someone who knows enough to have gotten some truth, but there is enough false thinking that has made a mess of things. It's like trying to untie a dozen knots on a shoestring. It takes awhile to get through it all and can be very frustrating. God only knows where Todd really is at. Please pray for him. Listen here as I witness to Todd.

The Cow: From Land to Water

This video is from David Berlinski. Please note that he is not a Christian but a secular Jew. He is the writer of many books on mathematics and a leader among those who question darwinistic evolution.

Judge Not?

Thanks to my friend Rob-Roy Nelson for this contribution.

Friends,

This weekend we were blessed to get the gospel into the hands of more than 400 people by water bottle tracts or by preaching in one-to-one or small group conversations. One of those people was a man from Jamaica who after talking with my friend Ken walked my way. I asked him what he thought about what Ken had told him. He told me we are all on our own path. I asked him where his path would take him when he died. As he started to walk away he told me that it would take him to his “destiny”. I asked him what his destiny would be. He then became very stern and pointed his finger and walked right back toward me and said “Judge not! Lest you be judged.”

Calmly but firmly I replied, “Are you judging me?” He stopped for a moment and then said “no.” But that is exactly what he did and you could see on his face what his words would not admit. I told him that we cared about him and why it is important to think about the biggest question of all but that he was free to go if he that is what he wanted to do. And then he left. I did not get his name but please pray for him.

Love, Rob-roy

Festus Factor

I have to admit that I've gotton hooked on the old T.V. westerns, Bonanza and Gunsmoke. Aside from the "shoot 'em up" western justice front and center on every show, it's pretty clean entertainment. Now I've found a new reason to watch! See Festus and Doc discuss evolution. Who do you think won the argument?

Ambassadors' Alliance: The experience 3

Here's another great video that gives yet another glimpse of what it was like at the Ambassadors' Academy. At any given time, a dozen or more video cameras from both attendees and the Living Waters team were running and chronicling everything that went on. I'm sure this won't be the last great video. This comes from Pastor Brett Coronado at Calvary Chapel Hemet.

First Friday Phoenix

On the first Friday of each month, there is community event that brings people out to downtown phoenix. Music, food, art galleries and some very colorful people out and about. This was Clarke's first outing sharing the Gospel. He did great stepping out of his comfort zone--Way to go Clarke! We were also joined by my youngest daughter Zeri. I guess some of my exitement from attending the Ambassadors' Academy has rubbed off on her. She has been asking to go streetfishing almost every day! What's a daddy to do? Her favorite thing to do is hand out the million dollar bill and optical illusion tracts from Living Waters.

Ambassadors' Alliance: The Experience 2

This was the first thing I saw when I arrived at the Sheraton in Cerritos for the Amabassadors' Academy last week (the roosters not the flowers.) I think they were plants by Ray Comfort and the Living waters team to get any ideas of chicken-ing out on street evangelism out of our minds.
